Mats joined McNerney, Page, Vanderlin & Hall in 2025, and he focuses his practice on School Law, Municipal Law, and Civil Litigation.

Mats grew up in Northeastern Pennsylvania and graduated from the Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Global and International Studies. During his time at Penn State, Mats was committed to serving his community through his service fraternity, Alpha Phi Omega. He received his law degree from the Alexander Blewett III School of Law at the University of Montana in Missoula, Montana. During his time in Montana, Mats gained experience in civil litigation and completed his clinical studies with the Montana Department of Agriculture.

Mats is admitted to practice before the State Courts of Pennsylvania and Federal Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Lycoming Law Association.
