William E. Baney is a civil litigator. He has experience in a variety of matters, with a focus on real property, contract, and commercial disputes. He represents individuals, landlords, business owners, and property owners in all such matters.

William earned his Juris Doctor from New York Law School and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania. While in college, William served in the student government and was elected Speaker of the Senate.

William is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New York, as well as before the U.S. District Courts for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, the Southern District of New York, and the Eastern District of New York.

A 2025 graduate of the Leadership Lycoming program, William is committed to professional growth and civic engagement. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, Lycoming Law Association, and Charles F. Greevy, Jr. Law Society.

Originally from Lock Haven, William worked for boutique real estate firms in New York City for ten years before returning to the area. He is excited to be back in central Pennsylvania serving the community where he grew up and currently resides in Watsontown, with his wife, Nikki, and their two children.
